What we build
Most gift card systems are features of something else — a POS, an eCommerce platform, a loyalty suite. That works until a business outgrows one system. A guest buys a card online and cannot spend it in the venue. A group opens a second site on a different till and issues a second, incompatible card. A retailer refunds cash because the POS has no way to issue credit.
Wrapped exists to remove that class of problem. It holds the canonical balance above the POS layer, so a card is sold once and redeemed once no matter where the customer happens to be. Everything else — the branded storefront, Apple and Google Wallet, experience vouchers, refund-to-credit, marketing automation, liability reporting — is built on that single ledger.
How we work
- Independent of any POS vendor. Wrapped is not owned by a till or payments company, so it integrates with competing platforms on equal terms and has no reason to push you toward one.
- Published pricing. Every plan, allowance and overage rate is on the pricing page. There is no "contact us for pricing" tier below Enterprise.
- Your gift cards stay yours. If you leave, you can export the full gift card ledger — codes, balances, transaction history — and the outstanding balances remain your obligation to honour, not something that disappears with the subscription.
- Honest comparisons. Our comparison and alternatives pages say plainly when a competitor — or your POS's built-in gift cards — is the better fit.
Who uses Wrapped
Retail and apparel brands, restaurant and hospitality groups, distilleries and wineries, golf clubs, cafes, and specialty retailers — from single sites to multi-venue groups running several POS systems at once. Named examples, with the results they saw, are collected in the case studies.
Who writes here
The guides, comparisons and case studies on this site are written by Natasha Mazey, CEO and Founder of Wrapped, working directly with the merchants running these programs.

About Wrapped: frequently asked questions
- Who owns and operates Wrapped?
- Wrapped is built and operated by Loud Labs Limited, a New Zealand company. Wrapped is the product name; Loud Labs is the legal entity you contract with. The company is independently operated and is not owned by a POS or payments vendor, which is why Wrapped integrates with competing platforms on equal terms.
- Where is Wrapped based, and where can it be used?
- Wrapped is based in New Zealand and used worldwide. Customers run gift card programs on Wrapped across Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States. Pricing is billed in USD.
- What kinds of businesses use Wrapped?
- Retailers, restaurants and hospitality groups, distilleries and wineries, golf clubs, cafes, and multi-site brands. The common thread is operating across more than one sales channel — a POS plus an online store, or several venues — where a gift card locked to a single system becomes a problem.
- Is Wrapped a payments company?
- No. Wrapped issues and manages gift cards, experience vouchers, and store credit, and keeps their balances in sync across your sales channels. Payment processing stays with your existing provider — your POS, your eCommerce checkout, or Stripe on the Wrapped storefront.
- How do I get in touch?
- Product and account questions go through the Wrapped Help Center at help.wrappedgiftcards.com, which is staffed for email and chat support on every plan. Developers should start with the API documentation at wrappedgiftcards.readme.io. If you would like to see the platform first, you can book a demo or start a 14-day free trial without talking to anyone.
