- What is the difference between a gift card and a gift voucher?
- In practice, none. "Gift card" and "gift voucher" are the same thing; which one you say depends on where you are. Wrapped uses "gift card" canonically and treats vouchers, gift certificates, and e-gift cards as synonyms across the platform.
- Does Wrapped support physical gift cards?
- Yes. You can integrate existing physical cards into the Wrapped ledger by scanning them at activation, or order branded physical cards through Wrapped to sell in-store alongside your digital cards.
- Can I sell experience vouchers as well as cash gift cards?
- Yes. Experience vouchers entitle the recipient to a specific experience or service (a tasting menu, a hotel stay, a round of golf) rather than a dollar balance. They use the same liability ledger as cash gift cards but redeem as a single transaction.
- Can I run promotions and marketing automation through Wrapped?
- Yes, on Pro and above. Promotional pricing, discount codes, automated bonus credit, scheduled gift card campaigns, and integrations with Klaviyo, Myne, and Zapier are all included.
- Are Apple Wallet and Google Wallet supported?
- Yes, both. Recipients add gift cards to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet straight from the gift card email, with no app to download.
- How does balance syncing work across channels?
- Wrapped keeps one balance per card. Spend part of it at any channel, whether that is your POS, your online store or the Wrapped App, and every other connected channel sees the new balance in real time. Per-channel ledgers are what let the same value get spent twice.
